AGRICOLA RESOURCES - NEWS RELEASE

22nd June 2005

INITIAL RADON SURVEY COMPLETED

London: 2 June 2005 - The directors of Agricola Resources plc ("Agricola") are pleased to announce that the initial radon survey over the area adjacent to the Paukkajanvaara mine in Finland has been completed. The sensor cups from the survey have been sent to Radonlab in Oslo, Norway for reading (www.radonlab.no).

The results will be returned to Agricola in early July. The objective of the survey is to pinpoint new targets and mine extensions for an early drilling campaign in the area.

Scintillometer surveys at the same time as the radon survey located seven boulders with high grades of uranium. The boulders contained abundant yellowish uranophane and pitchblende. Photographs of the boulders are shown below.

Discussions about a joint venture on the licences in Finland are on going.
