RESULT OF AGM / NOTIFICATION OF MATERIAL INTEREST

London : 5 January 2004. Agricola Resources plc wishes to announce that at the Company's AGM held on 22 December 2003 all the resolutions proposed were approved by shareholders. The Company also announces that Mr Thomas Anderson has acquired 10,000,000 shares in the recent placing of new shares by the Company. Consequently, Mr. Anderson holds 14.62% of the ordinary share capital of the Company. The directors of Agricola accept responsibility for this announcement.
