The Directors of Agricola Resources plc are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Frazer Tabeart as a Non-Executive Director of Agricola Resources plc with immediate effect. Dr Tabeart is the representative of Energy Ventures Limited, the Australian Stock Exchange listed company which owns 29.9% of Agricola, and brings considerable technical expertise to Agricola.
He is an experienced geologist and a graduate of the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College London. He previously held a number of senior exploration positions during a sixteen year career with WMC Resources Limited. These roles included Principal Geoscientist, Managing Director of Western Mining Mongolia, and Project Manager for WMC's African exploration portfolio. Whilst with WMC Resources Limited, Dr Tabeart gained extensive experience in project generation and evaluation for a range of commodities including copper-gold-uranium systems, nickel sulphides, gold and copper. Dr Tabeart also gained extensive project management experience and has been responsible for project portfolios in the Philippines, Mongolia and most recently in Africa. Since leaving WMC Resources Limited, Dr Tabeart has held the role of Head of Exploration for Albidon Limited and is currently General Manager for African Energy Resources Limited, an Australian Stock Exchange listed uranium explorer currently engaged in the evaluation of a series of uranium deposits in southern Africa. He was Managing Director of Western Mining Mongolia LLC from May 2002 to June 2005.
