AGRICOLA RESOURCES - PRESS RELEASE

AGRICOLA RESOURCES PLC AWARDED PLATINUM PERMIT AT KLAPPSJO, NORTHERN SWEDEN

London : 2 April 2004. Agricola Resources PLC (Agricola) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a platinum exploration permit covering 22.5 square kilometres at Klappsjo, Vasternoorland County, Northern Sweden.

The permit is centred on the Klappsjo layered mafic intrusion. This intrusion has a 20m thick ultramafic layer, which shows anomalous platinum values (upto 21 grams per ton). Boulders with nickel and copper assays (upto 0.85% and 1.03% respectively) have been found on the south-eastern part of the intrusion.

Recently, aeromagnetic anomalies have been located near the high platinum areas by the Swedish Geological Survey.

Agricola plans to start exploration in the area in the near future.

Dr. Robert Young, Chairman of Agricola states "We are excited to obtain the licence in Sweden, and I expect diamond drilling on this licence to commence this summer, provided the initial work confirms the results published by the Geological Survey of Sweden."

The directors of Agricola accept responsibility for this announcement.
