Agricola Resources Plc announces that on 16 December 2009, its Chairman, Dr Bob Young, purchased 380,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 0.75p per share, James Negaard, a Non-Executive Director, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 0.73p per share and on 17 December 2009, Anthony Scutt, also a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 120,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 0.83p per share.
Following these share purchases, Dr Bob Young's beneficial interest is 1,810,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 1.14% of the issued share capital, James Negaard's beneficial interest is 400,000 ordinary shares representing 0.25% of the issued share capital and Anthony Scutt's beneficial interest is 820,000 ordinary shares representing 0.51% of the issued share capital.
The Directors are interested in a total of 3,030,000 ordinary shares, which equates to 1.90% of the issued share capital.
There are 159,455,489 ordinary shares in issue.
